Off the beaten track, but for a magical spiritual experience worth the journey.
Location. We stayed during a particularly auspicious weekend, and the ghats were magical. The highlight of a six centre road trip. That said, we had to fly to Indore to access Maheshwar, but well worth the effort.
Great feeling of exclusivity. The dining experience rotates around various locations around the fort.
No alcohol policy in line with the sacred status of Maheshwar. But they allow you to bring your own, and will happily serve it to you.

An absolutely wonderful and memorable stay.
The old world charm with all amenities. The fresh food - the staff and the little gestures of care. The evening boat ride on the river was a memorable experience.

Good choice and worth visiting with freinds and recommend stay for atleast 2 nights
The service / hospitality.
Nothing as such but the cost seems slightly higher side and even though food is fixed menu some options may be given

The staff and location were exceptionally good.
The staff and location were exceptionally good the food which was included was frugal, to say in the least. I've lived in multiple heritage properties in the past and have had far more for much less. Would I call this value for money? Not really. But once again, the staff and the location were exemplary!
