Great location by the monkey forest. Beautiful pool and grounds. Kind staff

Shuttle was unreliable due to traffic (no fault of the property). Scooter or Gojek may be better to get you around.

The most peaceful and carefree location to relax in Ubud

Where to even start? Our stay at Alam Idah absolutely exceeded our expectations. We knew our stay would be relaxing, peaceful, and cozy due to the location and the nature around, but this hotel is a little jungle paradise. We were welcomed with a fresh fruit cocktail upon arrival by the loveliest staff ever. Our room was spacious and tidy. And the bed? An absolute trap for you to melt in. The pool was stunning, there was a wide variety of breakfast options (all delicious) and the staff was super caring and accommodating. They truly made us feel at home during these three days. As you can tell by reading my review, we had an absolute blast and I can't wait to be in Bali again to visit this place.

Fantastic service. Very good breakfasts. A driver available if you're not quite up to a walk. But great location, a little bit away from the hectic centre, still an easy walk.

The staff was amazing. The location was great as very close to the Monkey forest (you can walk there by foot), also it's very close to lots of restaurants and bars. As it is on the side of the sanctuary, please bear in mind that you may see some monkeys, leasards and other creatures.

The paradise for a couple!!I will recomend it to all my friends!!

We really liked the atmosphere of the hotel.The gardens were just amazing and very paeceful. The style of the hotel was very typical from Bali and we really like it.Perfect for a couple looking for relax.The room we booked wasn't very good( mostly because of the viewNot to bad but without the privacy we were looking for)but they changed us to another room for free. The new one was very big and with a nice view. We stayed there for 3 nights and I regret I wouldn't have stayed longer.Breakfast was more than enough.The pool was only for us.The staff was really kind.There is a transfer to go to Ubud for free.I liked the idea to have big jars of water to refiel the bottles and don't wast plastic.

The shower was poor..The running water wasnt very good. Towels..I think they need to buy new towels and bigger.

Relaxing stay with beautiful Balinese ambience.

The hotel was beautiful, the gardens lovely, the staff sweet and accommodating and the restaurant serves world- class food.

Initial room had some mold smell but the staff were very understanding and quickly relocated us to another which we loved.

Charming boutique hotel in the middle of the jungle, yet conveniently located, with easy access to Ubud centre with shuttle provided by the hotel. Very friendly staff always keen on helping. Very good a la carte breakfast

Place with potential, needs major upgrades.

Amazing location, really nice rooms, nice pool.

In general hygiene could be improved. The hotel should make it clear that it is expected to have geckos, frogs and insects (cockroaches in the bathtub) in the room.
