    Nice location, quiet and away from overcrowded centre of Ubud. But plenty of good bars and restaurants close by. The accommodation really exceeded expectations. But the best thing about Alam Ashanti has to be the warm, friendly staff who always greeted you with a smile and a chat.
    Not a lot really. I would definitely go back or recommend it to others.

    Perfect and calm place to stay in Ubud
    The stay was great as part of our trip. The staff was very helpful and attentive, one day when we left early in the morning for a trip, they had prepared a breakfast-to-go for us. The room was clean, beautiful and with an amazing view of the nature surrounding us. When we came back, we were greeted with a smile every time and they even offered coffee or tea - every single time! The pool area was great, we had a late breakfast there one day, the staff brought everything there and checked from time to time and gave refills on coffee, water, tea.. All in all, can really recommend this for a stay during a longer Bali trip, or as a sole stay for your entire trip. Thank you once again, you made it magical for us!

    Wonderful stay nearby money forest. My room was very spacious and comfortable with beautiful outdoor bathroom. The breakfast was delivered to the room and very delicious. I would love to come back here!

    Alam Shanti was absolutely exceptional but the most outstanding feature is the beautiful staff who make you feel like family. The gardens were beautiful.
    The air conditioner could be larger to better suit the size of the room otherwise no complaints

    Nice, green, quite place next to Monkey Forest. Great breakfast which can be eaten on an apartments terrace. The street is less crowded than others in Ubud, but still you have plenty of choice - food, laundry services, massages etc are available in really good prices

    If we ever return to Ubud I would absolutely stay here again!
    We loved our stay at Alam Shanti! We stayed in the Indus room which was beautiful with all the Balinese architecture. The veranda was beautiful and we saw monkeys every morning in the trees. The staff also kept the monkeys away while we ate our breakfast, so we didnt have to worry about them. We enjoyed a great breakfast and afternoon tea and cake on the veranda. The staff made sure I had gluten free bread and cake in the afternoon, as I have Celiacs which was so appreciated! The staff were so kind, helpful and friendly. While the Ubud area is very busy, Alam Shanti is in a quiet location and felt like an oasis! We are so glad we stayed here!

    Lovely, but frogs will keep you awake
    Lovely staff, great location to monkey forest, nice choice for breakfast, bungalows in a jungle type of vibe
    It's a jungle and you are surrounded by nature. As much as I love animals, frogs in the night kept as awake two nights in a row :( we had the lower apartment, and beds were positioned literally 30cm from a pond full of frogs that were mating and calling each other for 8h straight. I'm pretty sure higher apartments are a better choice

    The staff is great they make the hotel feel very familiar, the hotel is not the newest but it is very well maintained. Even though you can find many restaurants close by, because of the gardens and the spacious layout of the hotel, you will feel very private. It was the best hotel we had in Bali, i paid the same or more in other areas and they were not nearly as good.

    We all love the house very much (including my little girl)! We will visit again in the near future.
    The service is definitely number one! They treat the house and guest with their heart but not just for tips. House itself has great space and sufficient storage, the antique style is so Balinese and unique.
