    The Langdale Boutique Hotel by Amaya is a lovely property with clean British architecture. Guests enjoyed delicious breakfast and dinner, and appreciated the good pool overlooking tea gardens. The we (Read More)ather was also described as awesome. The staff were noted for their courteous and well-disciplined service. However, it is worth noting that the hotel is located around half an hour away from the main city, and it is recommended to book dinner at the hotel as there are no nearby restaurants.

    Unique location, tasty food
    Location is amazing! Great scenery, tea plantations around the hotel, tracking routes. The food was good for breakfast and dinner. Personnel is very polite and doing their best to provide good service. The hotel is very small and it feels very cozy. Cute Christmas decorations created nice mood)
    I was surprised that sauna and jakuzzi in spa area are fee-based) never met that in 5-star hotels. It is not expensive but weird. The iron and iron desk provided in the common area was very dirty, we had to clean iron before using it. At the breakfast were waiting 50 minutes for coffee and boiled eggs;) but its just the vibe you should catch in Sri Lanka - no rush and chill, even if its 5 star hotel, you would have to slow down!

    This an extremely smart hotel with extremely high standards, all the staff were incredible but left us enough space The food was exceptional the rooms very comfortable and there was a great Christmas ambience, the views and the walks into the surrounding tea plantation was one of the highlights of our holiday.

    The Langdale is a truly exceptional hotel. Its wonderful staff, who attend to your every need, make for an extraordinary experience. Situated in an incredible location and boasting great facilities, this establishment comes highly recommended.

    Charming cozy place with great staff
    Staff was amazing, accommodating, kind. Room with a great view of the valley, plantations, train. Facilities were charming and well kept. Food was great, specially their signature dish.
    Theres no air conditioner. Temperature was around 22C so it was not hot, but that can be a problem for some people.

    The bathroom was in need of a deep clean. Wardrobe doors falling off. These are easily sorted out and let the property down somewhat.

    Beautiful location and fantastic service
    I loved staying at the Langdale. The service is fantastic, and its beautifully maintained. The location is a little out of town but thats its charm, the views are stunning and being able to walk right out into the tea fields is so special.

    Very nice hotel not far from Nuwara Eliya
    Very nice hotel. Great view. Pool with a view. Service was excellent. Room 205 was a specious room with a great view. Had an aromatic oil massage - which was great. Most people have half board these days. We did not - still enjoyed our dinner.
