    With stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli Sopa Lodge offers a fantastic lounge, delicious food, and a warm ambience. The location is slightly far from Amboseli National Park, but it is still (Read More) a fantastic place to stay. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The lodge is set in a safe environment, with the local community providing security. Overall, it is a great resort with free WiFi, delicious food, and excellent service. The reviewer would definitely return.

    Charges are not commensurate to the facilities. Overcharged. got body ache from all the walking
    Swimming pool and fishing.
    Everything else. Food, bathroom flooding, old doors and ironmongery. Poor quality bathroom finishes. Stuffy dining room. Poor ventilation.

    Grrrreeeat hotel!
    Hotel is amazing! Rooms service great. Especially animals which are walking around hotel! Territory pretty big, and bar on hill with great view. Revoked you if you dont want to spend a millions to stay in Amboseli park. It just 20 minuets to main entrance, but through the road you have access to see wild animal, such as Giraffes ( we saw it only on road from hotel to Amboseli park)!
    Only 2 things, such as no WiFi in room, and hot water by schedule ( but some days it was no hot water even it was a time for it).

    Everything was awesome. Ambience, comfort, location, cleanliness. The hotel even deserves a score better than 10. They accommodated us in every possible way. The location is itself a small forest with monkeys, impalas and exotic birds and just exploring the hotel site was a treat. We were travelling with little kids so they made nice customized meals for them. Beds were soft and comfortable. For our day long game drive the hotel provided a full buffet meal near observation hill in the park. The Hemingway had an interesting history. The restaurant offers majestic views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Overall one of best hotel sites in the region particularly Amboseli area.

    The hotel is 20km away from the entrance to the park but with some early departure planning one can catch wonderful wildlife viewing in the park.

    They must repair/ make the road at the gate. No excuse to that
    Great food, friendly staff. But main telephone unreachable in case of urgency
    There are no telephone in the room, Mobile signal poor, can be critical in emergency situation. The road the facility is in inaccessible when it rains. Even on a 4x4 so beats the whole purpose if you can't access the hotel

    It was an absolute joke, from check-in, no wifi signal, rooms old and dirty, general manager had no answers, game drives were extra. Had a close encounter with a baboon, this was also brushed off as the norm, were not advised baboons could be around, no escourt to our room after dark, while wild animals are looming
