    Best place for mental and physical rejuvenation
    Amees Retreat is Home away from Home! What a relaxing ambience and atmosphere. Felt very comfortable from the moment we checked-in till check-out. Owner Mr. Amit personally guided us over phone regarding various details of the resort and also kept in touch during our stay. It was very warming. We liked everything about Amees Retreat - thoughtfully designed rooms, abundant space outside with lush greenery, Bonfire, proximity to beach and Suvarna Ganesh Temple. And the best part was the delicious sea food cooked by Mrs. Chalke who manages the kitchen. Her entire family looks after the resort management and are very accommodating. We will definitely visit this resort many more times!

    As there are trees around the room, there are a lot of insects, bugs and even lizard that enter the room when the door is opened.

    Room was specious. AC was working fine.
    Cook was not available. No water bottles / cold drinks for sale. Breakfast was brought from outside which was not hot. Only one person was available who was taking care of housekeeping.

    New and clean rooms.
    Breakfast was not available. The owner managed to get the breakfast from other providers outside, which was late and insufficient. The extra bed was only 2 mattress where as the charges were 25% more . Insufficient toiletries were provided and we had to wait for even a bathing soap to be give.

    Place Owned by Dr. Amit, who is an excellent host. The place is walkable distance from the sea beach and Suvarna Ganesh Temple. The premises will give the feel of a village home with all modern facilities inside the accommodation. Dr. Amit owns and operates the hot Air balloon setup, which is the most enjoyable activity at divegar.
    Storage space inside the rooms is required.
