    Pathetic Ubud Ananda Resort please avoid
    It was a horrible experience.. Room was specious.. other than that nothing was there..
    It was a horrible experience.. Never recommend. pathetic staff, pathetic and unhygienic breakfast, no internet, no TV connection, no service at all, too much of mosquitos, extremely unhygienic env especially the cafeteria.Totally untrained and unprofessional staff..

    The restaurant was a bit far for our elderly parents and it felt a bit crowded as if meant for a smaller crowd - or smaller property. Wifi was at times a bit weak

    Amazing alternative Christmas.
    We booked the Ananda as a special treat for Christmas and it was so much better than wed expected. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, the room was fantastic from the soft and comfortable four poster bed to the 2 person bath, and the view of the countryside throughout the room. The inclusive breakfast one of the best you will get for the price. Basically we loved our stay at Ananda and would recommend it to anyone.
    There was no English television channels in the room.

    Staff were very helpful. We dropped our luggage early and after check-out, requested them to store for a day for which they obliged. Breakfast options were amazing. Facilities were exceptional too.
    Had lots of mosquitoes.

    Splendid stay. We loved it!
    I like the serene atmosphere of the resort. even though we are just off the streets, we didn't hear much street noise. The resort itself was very rustic. There were ongoing upgrading works but that didn't affect our stay. We managed to walk towards the back of the resort and get onto the padi fields, to walk on the actual bunds on one of the mornings. We bumped into friendly local farmers and had a refreshing walk as a family.
    Our bed was creaking at every toss and turn. Could do with better support. The complimentary water bottle given was abt 330ml in size. Hardly enough water per day for the hot weather. But the saving grace is that just across the road at the entrance is a 24hr minimart that has water and snack for one needs.

    Nice and quiet, about 30 minutes walk from Ubud central
    The rooms were very large and nice. The mosquito nets on the beds are a necessity as mozzies are able to get into the rooms through the cracks everywhere. However, as long as you keep the doors closed it is manageable. The resort is very large and very quiet. Breakfast was actually busy and you wonder where the people came from. Breakfast was simple but ok but considering the price we paid we might have expected a bit more.
    Breakfast could have been better considering the price point of the property. The location is a bit far out of town and grab cost about 50K coming back in the evening, day time is much cheaper, around 20-25K. Due to the wet season you could not really sit outside due to the mozzies, but that is everywhere in Bali in December I am told.
