Wonderful stay near Anjuna Beach and market

We had a wonderful stay in this small and peaceful hotel 5 minutes from Anjuna Beach. The Wednesday flea market is 10 minutes on foot. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the common areas were cozy and well kept. The staff was lovely and was eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible

Property was very difficult to identify as there was no sign boards. Also the beds had bugs in it making it difficult to sleep

Homely Guest House

Nice small homely guest house with decent facilities and greenery all around. Anjuna beach is roughly 5min walk. Perfect place for a couple of days getaway with your family.

The road to reach is kind of off-road type with no lights to help during nighttime.

The room and bathroom are basic but they were very clean. The people are very friendly and helpful, Guru was always available for helping and giving advice. It's a nice, quite place with a beautiful rooftop, hidden from the bustle of Anjuna.

The room is on the smaller side. Overall it is a pretty nice place, the only inconvenient is that it's hidden, as the name says, meaning it's not well connected to the main road. While this was not a problem during the day, at night we didn't feel too comfortable in going out as you have to take some paths either out in nature or in some small streets not well illuminated and there are many dogs around

Nice to relax, hidden from the crowd

The staff was really pleasant and had a few interesting chats with Guru and Akshay. The terrace is really nice to work from or just relax and eat. Other than that, there was no much more to be around in the guest house. They provide laundry service and a few minutes away there is a small bistro. A few minutes to the beach you have other more fancy restaurants and of course the beach with a beautiful sunset. Anjuna market is on Wednesday only and a 10 minutes walk away. But don't get too excited, it's not anymore what it was in the 60/70s. It's another market full of the same products (by the way all products come from the same companies in Dehli). Air conditioning worked well.

The name has of course a meaning, it's a bit hidden from the main roads. From one side is a 2 minutes walk through the houses (during the night might be a bit too dark). From the beach side you have to go through a 3 minutes walk in a dark way a bit in the nature. Now, for solo travellers, especially women this could be a bit daunting. Overall the area was pretty safe and I had no issue but still walking in the dark alone in a place you don't know can be tricky. For couples or groups I believe this is not a problem at all. Room and toilet were a bit too small.
