    Beautiful and comfortable. Would happily return.
    Spectacular location, conveniently near boating docks. Very helpful staff. Good food. Comfortable room. Hot water worked. Overall quiet.
    Non AC room, which was fine in November, except that the room windows could not be opened (monkeys and mosquitoes) so there was no way to get fresh air into the room except by opening the door into the building corridor. While food was generally good and varied, non-salad vegies were always overcooked. Side note: the gates are closed overnight to protect against animal intrusion, so not good if you want to bar-hop in town.

    If one wish to unwind in nature, must visit place is Arayna Niwas. Awesome . Friendly staff, marvellous surroundings, great food. Do you need anything more than this? Highly recommended for stay.

    Nothing in specific. A budget friendly property inside periyar and that's it.
    Very compact rooms. No balcony, just a great views. Not so superb like other ktdc properties.

    The location is great but lots more can be done. The stomach infection is a matter for concern .
    The breakfast was good but we both got stomach troubles on the second ay stay
    The chair and sofa has bad stains on them. One bathroom light above the sink was not working and even after reporting nothing was done. The lock of the room as shaking and highly unstable and loose. The booking thro booking .com had failings and was not confirmed by Aranya Niwas.We had troubles at check post as no information reached there from Aranya Niwas and spent lot of time showing paperwork to get entry into forest area.

    staying middle of jungle is an unique experience.

    Food was good. Staff was basically kind.
    Old furniture and low quality, armchair dirty. The windows of the room closed due to monkeys, no fresh air, no AC.

    An excellent place for short trip. It is a paradise for nature lovers.
    The breakfast spread had good options, and but for the peak load time, the replenishment was also good. A good toaster, better coffee and teas dispensers can make the operation efficient and cleaner.
    The spa remains open only during daytime, when there is much to do. Masseurs employed should be resident - same as the F&B and Reception staff. There is scope for steady Spa business after dusk, when there is really not much to do. The indoor sports are not prominently located and need some sprucing up.
