I saved this jungle hideaway outside Ubud as a bucket list destination over 5 years ago. Recently rediscovered, I sought a secluded spot for relaxation and minimal remote work. My experience exceeded expectations for hospitality, comfort, and escape from everyday life. I stayed in a Balinese-style Arkamara Suite Jungle with a panoramic view of the main pool and lush jungle. The king-size bed was comfortable, the spacious bathroom had a private shower space and bathtub, and the balcony was ideal to unwind. The housekeeping team ensured impeccable cleanliness.
With the occasional need to work, a strong Wi-Fi signal was crucial, and I experienced no issues staying online. The resort staff were courteous, attentive, and the Kaukau restaurant served delicious meals covering Indonesian to International cuisine. The Kamalini spa offered a wide range of pampering packages.
For island exploration, I used a pre-purchased eSIM; I highly recommend Holafly! The resort staff arranges drivers to explore hidden gems, and there's a free shuttle to Ubud.
