Absolutely loved this property! This was my second visit to Atlantis and the property never disappoints. The concierge at the property was exceptional she helped plan a birthday dinner for my husband which was unforgettable.
All staff are friendly, polite and a pleasure to be around. Fantastic experience always at this property.

Always love the decor and the selection of restaurants.I was surprised how cold the water is at the water park this time of year but still very enjoyable.
We have stayed at this property several times. After staying at the Waldorf downtown prior I could see a large difference in the standards of service. Found this time round the service not to be like previous stays. The buffet quality was disappointing on this stay. Hopefully when we return in May that the standards will return and this was just a one off.

Gala Dinner and Concert for New Years Eve was fantastic! Highly recommend. We avoided driving in the horrible traffic on the Palm afterwards, but I think in hindsight it would have been better to save our money and stay somewhere else on the Palm, for the price we paid it was not worth all the irritations.
Club Lounge was nice (we heard the normal breakfast was very noisy with kids, so we upgraded, thinking we'd get peace and quiet. But no, that was full of kids too.) HINT: You can go up the elevator and there's the same service up there but more peaceful.
It's quite good you get free access to the Aquaventure, but the crowds are very bad on a holiday weekend. Lots of day trippers. Many of the staff don't seem to understand English or know the best way to get from the Hotel to the Waterpark (if you can't take the stairs. We spent ages walking up and down the Lobby Corridor trying to find the right lift to the Ground Level so we could catch the Buggy to Aquaventure. I recommend just walking towards the Aquarium and then take a right. It's well signposted, but it's not disability friendly.

Staff seem to have a culture of quoting 'policies' just to irritate the customers! Started before arrival they offered me an 'upgrade' to confirm a non-smoking room, which I had already reserved in my booking. He then went on to say (several times) that he couldn't confirm I would get a non-smoking room as they are subject to availability on arrival. That seemed to be their 'policy'.
On check-out Concierge seemed to take great pleasure in informing me that "I'm sorry sir, we can't load the bags into your car unless you are present." I never said I was not going to be present, I was right there.
They have terrible communication problems between their different departments. I got accused at least 6 times (before arrival, on check-in, during my stay, and after checkout) that I hadn't paid for the compulsory Gala Dinner. We had tickets to the Sting Gala Dinner, (which I had paid a small fortune for through Platinum list). It was wonderful!
Check-in experience was atrocious! Faisal was inexperienced. We had upgraded to Imperial Club Room and should have gone straight to the Club Lounge (on the Lobby Level all the way to left from the Lobby). He just ran off and didn't tell us what he was doing and kept us standing there for almost half an hour! In the end we had to ask him to take us to the Club Lounge check-in, as my wife's back was too sore.
The final straw came after we'd checked out, in the middle of the Imperial Club Lounge entranceway, Maica chased after us and accused us in front of all the guests that we hadn't paid for the Gala Dinner (AGAIN). I said we'd gone to the concert! How did we get the tickets if we hadn't paid? We had our cup of Tea, and then she was waiting for us again. She confirmed there'd been an error and they wouldn't bother us again, but then said she needed 20AED Tourism Tax. I couldn't believe the incompetence of this hotel.

Atlantis has everything you would want for a family stay in Dubai.
Booked Imperial Club Queen Room and got offered a (paid) upgrade to a Terrace Suite upon arrival, which we took. Bigger room with living area and open terrace. High floor with view over aquarium and looking across over Aquaventure water park towards Burj Al Arab.
Imperial Club lounge food is excellent. Large selection of buffet options for breakfast. Also does afternoon tea and evening canapes, drinks etc so worth the extra spend.
Hotel facilities are great, access to Lost Chambers Aquarium (small) and Aquaventure Water Park (free for Imperial Club guests), some high end shops plus lots of food options, kids play areas (Wavehouse and Kids Club), watersports activities etc plus close to Monorail to access other parts of the Palm. Suggest getting Express pass for Aquaventure otherwise you risk standing in line for hours for a single ride. Can arrange other tours through hotel as necessary (e.g. helicopter which flies from White Beach area next to hotel).

Room temperature control was a bit sporadic. Seemed to be centrally controlled and not able to be controlled directly in the room. Got room control once requested access via guest services but then it came back on on its own after being switched off. Bed in room way too soft for us but personal preference.
Hotel pools - water was VERY cold, almost as cold as sea water.
Aquaventure Waterpark - great rides but disorganised and staff not equipped to deal with amount of visitors at peak Christmas time. Queuing for rides very chaotic, not enough inflatable tubes for the rides and some being used were deflated and/or not replaced/pumped up. Most guest services areas had no towels even fairly early in the morning, so suggest take your own. Large, long queues for food stalls. If staying at hotel, then suggest to eat at Wavehouse where tables readily available.

you will immediately inform Holidify of such use.
User Postings
From time to time you may post or otherwise make available certain postings including Travel Agent feedback,
reviews, ratings and testimonials (collectively, the "User Postings") on the Website or in response to
Holidify generated emails. You understand that the posting or otherwise making available of such User Postings
is the sole responsibility of the person or entity from whom such User Posting originated.
You agree that you are entirely responsible for each individual item of User Posting that you post
or otherwise make available via the Website and you shall not post or otherwise make available postings that are
(i) unlawful, harmful, deceptive, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory or invasive of another's privacy, or
(ii) harasses, degrades, intimidates or hateful toward an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, or disability.
