Good option for being close to centre.
It is a fantastic location, only a short walk to nearby cafes, restaurants and pub. Salamanca market is a 15 minute walk. We stayed in the cottage which has a lot of character.

Location was excellent. Bed was very comfortable.
The set up of the room was a bit awkward & not user friendly. The TV was too far away from the bed & there was nowhere else to watch from. No where to place bags for easy access without tripping. Nowhere to hang towels or hand towels. No bench area for food prep and no toaster. It's a great spot. A few thoughtful fixes would make the room much more comfortable.

Lovely place to stay in Battery Point
We were in Room 5 for 2 nights which is huge, lovely view our to sea. As the bed is tucked into an alcove you dont have side tables but can live with that. Everything clean and easy to get to restaurants and harbour. The next 2 nights we moved to Room 4 as this room wasnt available. It was smaller but still large compared to other hotels. Only issue there was that Room 3's bathroom has a noisy fan which comes on with the light and the guest would leave it on during the night. It was against the bed wall. Can recommend the Indian and Italian down the road but you must book or you miss out.
The Wifi wasnt very good, dropped out a lot.
