    The Bayfront Inn is loved for its affordable price and convenient location near the bay. Guests recommend getting a room on the second floor for a better view, but the bottom floor also has a charmin (Read More)g garden patio. The walls are thin, so light sleepers should bring earplugs. The owner was very accommodating and made the check-in process easy. The hotel is in a great location, near shops and the beach. Guests appreciate the kindness of the staff and the pet-friendly atmosphere.

    I booked a room with a king bed and our bed was much smaller. I did not like paying for a king bed and not getting one.

    Cozy, friendly, welcoming little place across from Morro Rock... "Pet friendly" is an understatement
    The room was cozy, with free water, candy and a keurig with coffee. We added a pet reservation through the motel itself, and while that was an extra cost, it was well worth it; they gave an amazing care package and set the room up for our little pups before we entered. There was a lovely free cinnamon roll at the cafe nearby in the morning. This was the only free part for breakfast, but there were great selections otherwise if you want a little more. And the view? You're right at Morro Rock; need I say more?
    There really wasn't anything I could say I didn't like. The parking is shared which I imagine gets awkward in busy seasons, but other than that, there really isn't anything to complain about! Rooms are old key style if that matters to you.

    Ruined by liar & darkness trying to get to room without tripping & falling.
    Free cinnamon roll was good.
    John, the owner of Bayfront Inn, convinced me to cancel my reservation from booking.com and book through him directly. He assured me that Booking.com would refund me %100 of my money. That being almost $80 less than booking.com plus the $60 pet fee you pay in you dont book directly through Bayfront was going to be a $140 savings. So I agreed.but I still havent received my credit from booking.com & the girl that answers the phone just hangs up on me because she says she wont speak with someone who is frustrated. My tone was normal and I was kind, but she refused to talk to me. TALK ABOUT FRUSTRATING!!! Anyway I asked to have owner contact me, but still no phone call or refund I was promised. Just double charged for an outr stay. Oh and the lights are on timer and dont come on until much after dark, very unsafe!! So by the unprofessional encounter with staff and owner not keeping his word. I think they deserve no stars!!! Horrible situation they put me in & booking.com wont help without Bayfront agreeing by email. Which they apparently wont do, even after owner gave his word. It ruined my wifes birthday weekend with all the frustration & over $400 in charges for a $150 room. So good luck to you if you stay there, I hope your experience is a good one.

    Great location, dumpy facility and rooms.
    The location is perfect.
    This place should be a gem instead it's a poop emoji. The location could not be better. It's right across the street from the bay, the pier and all the restaurants which should make this place prime and yet the facility and the room was poorly maintained and dirty. The gal at the front desk said we had the "best room." If that was the best room, that's does not bode well for the rest of the rooms. I'm far from a "neat freak" but it's impossible to be comfortable when the room is old and dirty. The sheets on the bed had significant dog hair AND human hair. The replacement sheets were clean, but hair on the sheets is disgusting and when such an obvious issue is overlooked by the cleaning staff, what else gross is going on? We had a terrific view except the windows were filthy with spider weds and the blinds were broken. The shower looked like it had not been scrubbed clean in 20 years. Twice I've stayed (reluctantly) at a Motel 6. They were much cleaner which is not a good comparison for this place. If they invested in an overhaul of facility, they could charge much more per room and recoup that investment in less than a year.

    Terrible experience. The rooms are tiny, and the walls are paper thin, so it is super noisy. There is no elevator, and the room smelled awful. I paid for an expensive ocean view, but the view was obstructed. I did not stay even 1 night - and when I asked for a refund, it was refused.
