    The reception was not enthusiastic or warm! I arrived during lunch time. It was very warm and they didn't even offer me a glass of water! When I asked for food they encouraged me to go out and have food. I had to walk quite a distance in the sweltering heat and after a long weary bus journey. The intercom was not working so I had to go out and call from the second floor to the ground floor. They said it'll not be repaired soon. There's no lift so I had to carry my luggage up to my room. The basin tap was not firm and rotated while opening and closing. No taxi or autorickshaw available. Difficult to travel at night.!!!!

    I did enjoy my stay but needed a vehicle
    The hostess was very nice, friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The room was a good size and the sheets and towels were very white and fresh. Breakfast was excellent, lots of food.
    For someone without a vehicle it is hard to visit local beaches as there are no took tooks near by

    Not happy with my stay
    Good location and price.
    Owner is commanding and doubt customers. It is just one way traffic from their side. They don't listen to your side of the story and experience but assume that you are bluffing. They feel that they are doing a favor to customers. Looks like the lady (owner) is ready to fight and argue any time. Never use convincing tone at all. You get stinking smell in the property with cat & dog which are not well maintained. This will be a huge problem, especially if you are allergenic to pets.

    Probably the best place at this price point in the area, even it wasn't the hosts make it worthwhile. Having hosts that have lived in the UK makes a massive difference to any foreign (English speaking) guests . Their friendliness, as stated in other reviews, was very welcome. The AC in my room was very fast and quiet compared to other units in other places I've stayed at (my 20th visit to India)
    One of the rental bikes was not up to scratch but that is being seen to.

    Beautiful hotel grounds and lobby, friendly staff
    the location is far from the center if you want to walk around the city center. The lack of a bathroom in the room is a big minus.
