This was the perfect hotel for the special birthday we were celebrating. The hotel is stunning, with the most incredible dining hall where we had the best hotel breakfast ever and drinks in the evening. The staff were so helpful, with a variety of things, and the room was comfortable, warm and spotless. Great location too, 10 mins walk from Gamla Stan.

The location of the hotel was great, within walking distance to most attractions and public transport. The breakfast was good and dining hall was lovely. Check in and check out was relatively easy.
We knew we'd booked a small room, but we weren't prepared for the size of the bathroom - you were barely able to move and had to fold the shower doors each time you wanted to do anything. The room itself was quite dated as well.

It was a fianc with my sister and husband for his 50th and it was excellent. Would go again in the summer months .

I little point is that l think guests should be made aware of dining area times as they do mid afternoon sittings
Its a place where the general public frequent so if you do not book you all your meals it will be full - Staff need to make this clear to guests on arrival as its open to the pubic and guests have no preferential treatment.
I was there in early December so it was very busy but still fabulous.

Good location and nice breakfast.
but TERRABLY loud on fridays and saturdays.
Many things. Tiny rooms and our bathroom hva bugs. SO LOUD that our beds shook until 1am! it was like being in a nightclub and the earplugs didn't work. It was very surprising how much discomfort was caused by the clubs. I strongly recommend that you book somewhere else.
