    Excellent on all levels - house, facilities, cleanliness, staff, breakfast!
    Amazing property, very clean and extremely well looked after and presented for guests. Breakfast was fresh, tasty and had good options to choose from. The staff were amazing and we were very well looked after. We discovered this little gem accidentally and have been raving about it since. Can not wait to return! One of the best stays in recents years!

    A lovely experience and we will happily return again
    The location of Beryl is perfect with the most beautiful view from our bedroom window with Wells Cathedral in the distance. Because we arrived in daylight,I walked around the lovely gardens and sat in the Japanese Pergoda that over looks a large pond. I also walked through The Bluebell Wood adjacent to the house. The room was very comfortable with a huge bath. Holly greeted us on arrival and was very friendly. We met Mathew at breakfast and he was charming too!

    This is a truly exceptional family run boutique hotel experience. Everything about Beryl is welcoming and unique. It was the perfect environment from which to explore Wells.

    Beautiful setting, well run family business with a high focus on customer service and satisfaction.
    Friendly, and relaxed atmosphere Beautiful surroundings in the house, room and gardens. Breakfasts wonderful individually cooked with plenty of choice Afternoon tea provided daily with excellent freshly backed cake Feeling so well looked after with nothing being too much trouble for the staff

    Like to visit the Beryl when working in the Wells area . Always clean , family welcoming and breakfast always special . Cake and afternoon tea a special touch

    Relaxing in beautiful surroundings.
    Beautiful house and extremely comfortable. Our room had a separate sitting room, a very comfortable bed with all attention to detail. A kitchenette with fridge provided cold, fresh milk for tea in our room. Afternoon tea was included & served with cake downstairs every day. The breakfast was delicious with local produce used. We were so well looked after in such a wonderful home.

    Quintessential English Period Country House
    Everything about our stay was absolutely excellent. The room was incredibly comfortable, clean and very roomy. The breakfast was fabulous and we loved coming back late afternoon to tea, coffee and cakes. The location was spot on too. Its close enough to walk to the centre but far enough to be private and quiet.
