    The Best Western Plus Bayside Inn is a great choice for a stay in San Diego. It is conveniently located near Little Italy, restaurants, and the waterfront. The staff is friendly and accommodating, go (Read More)ing above and beyond to assist with room reservations. The hotel offers a good location to explore downtown San Diego without breaking the bank. The rooms are clean and quiet, and parking rates are reasonable. The hot tub and pool area is a nice bonus.

    Okay hotel for downtown location
    Room comfortable and good view of bay. Close to Little Italy and bayside activities. Cheap parking for car.
    Took two payments for room - one with security deposit and still not refunded into my account. Poor service.

    It was an awful experience. I'm a single mom from the bay area, leaving an abusive husband. The front desk staff was so incredibly ride and did not process my reservation. I ended up at dennys restaurant to keep warm.

    Great location to the cruise port.
    The staff were so friendly and accommodating. None of the nitpicky rules about check in time and they even gave us our grab n go breakfast the night before which we enjoyed as a late night snack. The location is in a wonderfully clean and busy area of San Diego in the Columbia district. Only 1/2 mile from the cruise port and the USS Midway. We had fish n chips at the fish market restaurant overlooking the harbor next to the USS Midway. Highly recommend both the hotel and restaurant!
    The bathroom was a little small.

    Great location but tired rooms
    Great location. Staff were mostly great. Convenient 15min loading zone on the first level of the parking garage.
    Rooms were very tired. Ours had a very damp smell. Grab n Go breakfast was poor, we skipped it after the first morning. Coffee machine in the foyer didnt work the whole time we were there. There was coffee pods available at reception however it was always empty when we walked past.
