Loved the hotel, loved the housekeeping staff very unhappy with front desk staff
Location is great walking distance to restaurants shops and church, room very clean housekeeping staff very friendly and welcoming area outside room hotel premises very clean well maintained
Front desk staff rude unwelcoming unable to do the simplest things to accommodate guests, room keys kept malfunctioning needed to keep going to from desk to reactivate when doing so upsetting front desk staff even though we had no control of this, not friendly staff made us feel uncomfortable

The location is amazing, the Old Town and its history gives you a real vacation vibe, and it's such close walking distance to the Old Town Restaurants and shops. So close, you can almost throw a rock. The property has character with its unique layout on the hillside, its like being in a maze trying to find your room. Makes for an interesting stay.
The hotel is however very dated, the exterior is historic in itself and beautiful and has that Hacienda feel to it as expected. The rooms on the other hand need a renovation bad, old TV's, dingy tub, shower and curtain, uncomfortable beds. It was just ok, in my opinion. The location and uniqueness of the property makes up for the drab rooms, otherwise it just another mediocre hotel on the interior.
