    Excellent guest house in the city centre just a stone throw from the City Palace. Brilliant vibe inside. Clean rooms, bathrooms with hot water, awesome food. All members of the family most helpful and friendly. Thank you guys! We will come back!

    Amazing cooking class!
    We had such a great stay at Black Pepper. The family are so lovely and welcoming and you really feel at home there. The location is perfect, very close to the lake and walking distance to nearly all attractions. Rooms and whole place is very clean and comfortable. With a nice rooftop for chilling and eating. The food was fantastic and we did Durgas cooking class which I highly recommend - it was very fun and we learnt a lot. She asked us what dishes we would like to learn to cook - altogether we made 10 dishes. Durga is really great at explaining everything and telling us variations to do at home. She is also very funny and the whole day was very enjoyable! And the food was DELICIOUS.

    Sweet family with a sweet guesthouse!
    Very nice family, great location, easy to walk everywhere. Cooking class was so much fun, we recommend it to all!!! We loved our stay here!
    The bathroom smells a bit interesting but not too bothering.

    Great homestay and cooking classes in central area
    The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offer cooking classes and it was really worth the money. The location is very central and close to many restaurants and cafes. The hot water worked really well, which is not that common in India.
    Check-out time is a bit early (10am) but you can leave your bags there. Apart from that, nothing to complain.

    Beautiful family run home stay in the heart of Udaipur
    I can 100% recommend this family home as a beautiful and relaxing place to stay in the heart of Udaipur. The family are really friendly and make you feel instantly at home. They can accommodate for vegans. Durgas cooking class is wonderful, I really learnt a lot and the price is really reasonable. She also sends you recipes afterwards so you can recreate the deliciousness!
    There was nothing to dislike.

    This homestay was wonderful, the family so friendly and helpful . The room was clean as was the common areas, not a speck of dust ,sheets clean and the room light and airy. It was so central to everything as well .It was so nice I stayed extra days .!!!.and very affordable compared with other places in the vicinity ..Im an older traveller and I felt safe and accommodated and welcome and will definitely recommend this homestay to anyone I know who is coming to Udaipur ..TEN STARS ....
