    Very good experience. The Driver Pankaj ( with cab ) they recommended was great !
    Good spacious room, with ethnic Assamese upholstery and warm lightings. Breakfast was good and for lunch and dinner the caretaker organised food which was local thali and extremely delicious. The caretaker Mr Nirmal was extremely helpful with an every smiling disposition. We loved staying at Bougainvillea and highly recommend. Pankaj (+ 91 86388 79424 ) was the driver who was introduced to us and he was extremely friendly and helpful during the entire trip. We were two women travelling and he took great care of us. He took us to Meghalaya and Kaziranga and doubled up as a guide and photographer too. He knows the region very well and can plan the itinerary for you if you like. He took us to authentic Assamense restaurants and the food at every place was "Wow".

    Lovely homestay with helpful owner - just don't use their driver.
    The room was very clean, cosy and pretty. The owner was helpful and accommodating when I had a late arrival due to the train arriving in Guwahati past midnight. The breakfast was good (although slightly late based on the time I requested).
    The only negative is the driver that is associated with the homestay. He seriously overcharged me for transport to Manas NP. The reverse trip using another driver (in a nicer car) cost slightly more than 50% of what I was charged by the homestay driver. Definitely ask around before using this driver as you will likely save yourself being badly overcharged.

    Loved the modern house with ancestral touch. Mintu was really helpful and friendly. The rooms were really clean and nice. The breakfast was also delicious.

    Good size rooms with a balcony. located in a quite neighbourhood. the place has a homely atmosphere. Stayed for 03 nights on all nights had a good sound sleep.
    The Breakfast was terrible..on all days. If serving Tea, should be served on a teapot with separate milk and sugar. Give the choice to guests for their eggs (boiled/scrambled/fried/). Refrain from serving 'white bread'. Most people prefer brown bread. give jam , butter and marmalade with bread. Seasonal fruits would add nicely to a wholesome breakfast.
