Wonderful all inclusive experience curated for divers. We went for snorkeling. It was perfect. The team of Boutique Beach organised the transfers to and from airport. The hotel has a reduce number of rooms. I think maximum number of guest is around 22. This and the approachable staff create a great sense of family. All guest have meals together. There is a daily routine to make the best out of the diving experience. Early morning (6.30ish)we go out in 2-3 dives/snorkle jumps. The hotel owns their own boat. We had an instructor for every 1 to 3 people. Every day we visited different areas and view different locations. In general back to the hotel for lunch. Divers may go for one more dive. Afternoon is free. You can walk to the white sand beach just 5meters from the hotel door. At 7 is meeting time to hear a bit about fish in the area, and the plans for the next day. 7.30 is time for dinner. The diver crew often joins. It is focused on giving diving guests a great experience. During our stay several of the other guest had been in the hotel 2 or 3 times before this one time, and some of them were divers with 20+ years of diving. They stated that the experience is really great, especially if compared with other options on Maldives. I al not a diver, so have no opinion. Yet I found that so many appasionados repeat a good sign. Food at the hotel ia is very tasteful. Everyday a different menu and they accomodate for dietary requirements. The rooms are quite big, super comfortable mattress and pillows. We were provided with beach towels and beach bag too. Even yoga mat to take to the beach for extra support under the towel. The island itself is inhabited by locals. As they are Muslim sleves, and at least knee long clothes to be wear outisde the 'bikini beach'. It is great that is not a 'resort only' experience island. There are a few shops with basic food and touristy stuff.

It was very hard for Novak Djokovic to become No 1 in tennis, but even harder to maintain that position over the years. How many hotels are you aware of on Booking.com that has constant score of over 9.3? Yes, me neither - and this is what Boutique Beach hotel managed, and for good reason. From the moment you arrive, you are pampered personally - each and every day. The staff is simply top notch! Helping Mette, who is at your disposal around the clock, Sam whose Cockney accent confuses you because his knowledge of the lagoons and reefs around makes you believe he was born in Indian Ocean, always smiling and funny Saeed, King Kong Chef Shanti whose masterpieces from the kitchen you will enjoy every few hours - just to mention the few This great experience is wrapped in and around of picturesque island of Dhigurah with its beautiful beaches and breathtaking marine life around. Guys - thank you for the wonderful time!

It was great to be back!

This is our second visit to BB (we've been just half a year before) and this stay was as amazing as the first one. Some more details: 1. The dive and boat crew is very experienced, educated, helpful and just fun :) 2. The meals are outstanding, both thanks to Saeed's hospitality and Chef Shanti's skills and charm. The dishes can sometimes be a little spicy (not very spicy), but this is traditional to Asia and overall this is the best food that we had in Maldives. 3. The atmosphere is very homey, with everyone being treated as a member of the family. And they even organized a surprise birthday celebration for me! 4. Everything is very well thought through (thanks to the crew and of course Afzal!). The BB team tries to address any questions, desires or complaints as well and quickly as they can. 5. The rooms are comfortable, not luxurious, but there's everything one needs to rest after an intensive day that was full of adventures. The open-air shower is really nice, although the water is more often hot in the morning than during the day (when it's usually just warm). The weather during this stay was more challenging (monsoon season) and it rained a lot during the second half of the week, but it also seemed easier to find big fishes like mantas and whale sharks (we had 3 whale shark encounters during 1 week). And we saw dolphins several times as well, including once in the water!

Very good hotel for those who likes active vacations

The hotel met all our expectations, super nice staff ready to help with everything, very good facilities, we stayed in Deluxe, really liked it. Food was very delicious, interesting excursions. Definitely worth staying there!

The only thing we didnt quite liked is the beach next to the hotel. But we also understand that Dhigurah is a local island, so the hotel has nothing to do with it. But tbh we were out in the ocean every day , so the beach wasnt as important for us.

Great stay, amazing people and unforgettable adventures. If you prefer the luxury of constantly discovering new wonders of nature to just having a simple beach holiday, you're going to love it. Regarding the transfer, if the weather is good (only small waves) then the speed boat is completely fine, otherwise consider going with either of the plane options.

Exceeded my high expectations, fantastic staff and Hotel

Our stay was amazing, All the staff were so friendly and helpful, chef Shanties meals were flavoured so well and a great choice. The Dive boat was roomy, even when all the guests were on board, the seats upfront on the bow are a great touch, The diving was world class, I saw Sharks on every dive, Manta, whale sharks, turtles, morays, tuna, dolphins and a pod of false killer whales.The dive team was professional and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable and the inside / outside bathroom was fab. The beach is a 30 second walk from the hotel, it has chairs and shade and white sand.

There is no Alcohol on the island (which I knew) but a glass of wine with dinner would of been divine. Apart from that it was faultless

fantastic memory!

everything! this hotel is amazing. We know it is good, but we didnt know it is that great! As a diving center, all diving crews are super professional, knowledgeable about the ocean, passionate, nice and responsible (I wish I have more adjective to describe them!) . So much fun everyday! the diving boat Capitan is also the best to spot great diving area every day, especially manta and whaleshark! They take care of fins, snorkels, masks and wet suite cleaning and even dry them everyday! Ginger tea on boat, coconut snack and biscuits and sometimes lunch (salads, meat, rice , fruits) on the boat when it is a full day activity. The chef of the hotel is unbelievable! how can you make corn egg soup or potato soup such simple things so tasty? My asian stomach is obsessed with the food taste here. Food is prepared in a nutrition balanced way, salad, soup, meat/fish, rice/pasta, cooked vegetables, fruits and fresh juice, desert... We could just go back to the hotel for the reason of this Mr chef :). But of course for the diving crew as well :) I already miss them uhhhhhhhhhhh! we should have stayed longer.

We fell in love with this place and already can't wait to come back. The team takes such a good care of every little detail, you can really just switch off, enjoy and completely relax. There was a representative waiting for us at the airport who helped us get the money changed, showed us to the waiting area and later took us for a speed boat transfer - same on the way back. On the shore of Dhigurah we had a car waiting that took us directly to the hotel. The hotel is nothing luxurious, but clean, functional and decorated in traditional style. We absolutely loved the open-roof bathroom! You can hear the nature sounds all day long, but fortunately not from other guest ;) Rooms were cleaned daily. AC worked perfectly. Food was excellent every day - mostly Sri Lankan, but with some national and international twist. Even with dietary restrictions chef Santi and his helper offered delicious alternatives. The beach was just 20 steps away, cleaned daily, although not private. There are no umbrellas, but enough trees to find shade. We had snorkeling and diving trips every day and the crew was so professional, well trained and committed to give us best experience possible. We saw whale sharks, mantas, turtles, but also so many other underwater wonders. The whole team pays a lot of attention to preservation and sustainability, so by staying in this hotel you will actually help to give back to the local community. We could not recommend it more.
