    Poor
    Unclean student accommodation
It was in a central location, and the out of hours staff (students) were helpful.
Cant score any higher than poor as it did not meet the basic requirements of being clean. We checked in late at night to discover dirty sheets (hair, stained) and food under one of the beds. We had to wait until 11pm for our room to be cleaned but it was still sub-standard. Slept on my towel rather than the sheets, with a flat uncomfortable pillow. Extortionate $100 deposit and lots of fines etc presumably aimed at students - would not recommend to people backpacking, go to the YHA or another proper hostel instead.

    Very poor
    Not great at all
Fridge and cupboards were labelled so we knew we had our own space and our items were secure
Noise level at nights not monitored, beds so uncomfortable

    Overall, good value for money
Great location, reasonably clean, nice balcony area and lovely people - great stay for students. Lots of specific rules and fees but for the price we didnt mind. Spacious kitchen and facilities (cleanliness dependent on who's staying at the time).
Showers were small and only a mist came out which also wet the whole bathroom floor. Note that they required a $100 deposit for an extra set of keys.

    Bad
Awful. Would not recommend. Can't believe what I had happen. Finding a stranger in my room.
Location was great. Lots of good restaurants and cafes in the area. When I had a very bad problem no staff were working. On lady Shari came down from her room and helped me before passing me off to the manager.
I was staying in a single room. One day mid afternoon I came back to my room and FOUND A STRANGER SLEEPING IN MY ROOM. All of my belongings were in there. I had a vacuumed sealed bag with a gift in it that had been opened. The lady had stayed at the hotel in that room before me. She did not return the key. Knowing this they still rented the room out to me. Nothing was stolen. If i hadn't found her Im not sure that would have been the case. VERY UNSAFE. My mind has raced and thought of all the possible out comes that could have also happened. I had to buy a new tooth brush because I was worried she may have gone through all my stuff. Clearly an extremely HUGE problem. The company had me negotiating for a refund instead of offering it to me. I feel like my enter board should have been covered and they should be lucky that nothing worse happened. The room was not clean as far as the walls were stained. The shower in the washroom might've had the worse shower head I've ever seen. The water went absolutely everywhere.

    Would never recommend this place.
Quite central location and near to public transport.
Staff asked what time wed be arriving at the property and we informed them with plenty of notice the time which was well within reception hours. The staff member was not there and we had to wait for them to return. Very dirty. Our shared bathroom was cleaned once in our 6 night stay. It was quite frankly filthy. The room was advertised as a double or twin room and we requested a double 4 months before arrival at the point of booking. The day before our arrival we were told they do not have any double rooms on site - not sure why this was advertised. The bedroom was very hot - no aircon and we were provided a fan that was absolutely useless. The pillows were depleted and lumpy. We actually dreaded coming back to the accommodation each night and stayed out for as long as we could. This is student accommodation so filled with young people who are noisy in the evenings and inconsiderate when cleaning up after themselves in the kitchen. Having said this, there was no anti-bacterial spray available to clean up after yourself which added to the issue. There is also a kindergarten situated right next door which was noisy every morning. The students also had a bad sense of personal hygiene and in all communal areas there was a foul smell of body odour which was not pleasant. You are provided with one knife, fork, spoon, plate and bowl per person and a small locker/space in the fridge for the duration of your stay.

    Passable
It did the job but only just.
Large kitchen area with plenty of space and equipment. The shower in our room was also good.
No a/c in the room only a little fan so it was extremely hot. Rooms were dated and lacked comfort.

A very quiet and chill hostel. Staff was friendly and it was compared to most hostels very clean. And it's also pretty affordable.
