    "Chalet con vista" lives up to its name. The view indeed is magnificent.
    The property name doesn't lie - the view is indeed superb, with a view of the ocean and Teide when clouds don't obscure it. The kitchen was very well equipped, which was a pleasant surprise: oven, microwave, toaster, blender. We also used the outside grill. We also very much liked the house garden and the terrace for meals. This is a pet-friendly property. Parking was always available in front of the house. Communication with host was smooth both through Booking.com and WhatsApp when we had questions about where to locate stuff like light switches etc.
    We didn't like the surprise pet fee amount. While it was mentioned that pet fees apply, we were taken aback by the owner requesting 10 EUR per day for our 2kilo terrier. We felt that this should have been mentioned much more clearly on Booking.com. As we had already rented the property, the owner wasn't ready to compromise on the 140 EUR pet fee for our 10 day period. If you have a pet, better negotiate the pet fee amount before making the booking. You will probably need a car if staying at the property. It's on a mountainside with a decent climb until the closest bus station.
