    Chitra Ayurveda is a beautiful hotel located right by the beach, with aesthetic rooms and a great garden. The hotel owner is friendly and the staff is kind and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and (Read More) includes fresh fruits from the garden. The rooms are clean, spacious, and bright, and the garden is awesome. The ocean is just a short walk away. There are a few minor drawbacks such as the nearby train noise and the wifi connection, but overall the place is highly recommended for a relaxing vacation.

    Magic place close to the beach - Architectural wonder
    This place, along with the owners, have a special charm. We booked two separate rooms and both of them were spotless clean and spacious. We regretted that we didn't stay more. The house has a beautiful architecture and it's very well preserved and taken care of. I felt like home here. I recommend eating breakfast in the garden because it's both huge and beautiful and, sometimes, the train passes by... We will defintely stay here in the future. Moreover, the beach is at 5 minutes walking distance

    Beautiful stay and beautiful people
    This is a very beautiful stay at a great location. The stay is just a few minutes away from the beach, across from a cute railway track. The property is green with a lot of coconut trees and vintage style rooms. We absolutely loved staying on this property. But what truly made this stay special was the hospitality and warmth of Dr. Chithra and her family. Dr. Chithra, her husband, brother, and her son, Janith, were hands-on - right from serving a delicious breakfast in the morning, to making restaurant suggestions in the night. The ayurvedic massages were good too. Would definitely recommend this property.

    Kind and gentle people. We felt a sense of calm and peace in this beautiful guestbook.
    This property was exceptional in every way. The hosts and their son were unbelievably kind and when we had a sudden bereavement in Colombo, the hosts son gave us his car and his uncle drove us to Colombo in the middle of the night. We will definitely be going there again on our next trip.

    Quaint little B&B set in wonderful garden of coconut trees just 50m from the beach
    Hosts Chitra & family were so wonderful, helpful, thoughtful and kind Breakfast was exceptional and made with a lot of love Loved the setting in the garden of coconut trees Loved that it had only 4 rooms so small and cosy Just a short 50m stroll to the beach

    Amazing place to stay!
    Amazing place! We really loved staying at this hotel, the owners were very friendly and welcoming, the room was big and clean, a big garden with a pool. Great place to relax, the beach is right next to the hotel! The breakfast was very delicious!

    Am excellent short break. Would love to have stayed longer
    Chitra and her husband are superb hosts, very welcoming and helpful. The property is old but well maintained. The gardens are beautiful with access to an amazing Sandy beach. Breakfast couldnt be better. Chitra made us an evening meal at short notice which was most enjoyable. Thank you Chitra
    Bathroom is dated and can be improved

    Everything was just perfect. Chitra and her family are perfect hosts. We liked the heartfelt friendliness, the peacefullness of the location with its huge garden and the beach just across the rails. Best place for relaxing. Very good massage and nice breakfast.
