    A lovely stay with good food in the adjacent pub restaurant. A great start to 2024.
    Handy location being just off the dual carriageway and close proximity to our friends house.
    Decor is a bit tired in places, x2 old shopping trolleys dumped on premises and too much litter around.

    Location ideal for main routes in The Midlands. Pub is located on site and has an excellent choice on the menu. Rooms are a little dated but clean and tidy. Staff always accommodating.

    Very disappointed.
    Location
    Unfortunately when we check in the staff didnt mention that there was no hot water! As we were going out to a Christmas party we needed shower before going out. Basically it was a nightmare. Although when I went to reception to report it I was told they were waiting for a plumber we had no hot water until the morning.

    An old building with rather drab decor, but the room was very clean, with a very comfortable bed. Good restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Booked several times and would stay again.

    Peeling wallpaper and paint. The grout has gone in the shower area causing the skirting boards to be swollen and stained in the room. An air freshner was plugged in to help with the damp smell so the hotel obviously knew of the problem...and no heating

    Very comfortable.
    The location was perfect for me visiting family. Very nice reception staff on arrival . Plenty of parking near the accommodation. Very warm comfortable double room,with a large comfortable bed. Nice size Bath and very good shower above,plenty of hot water. My dog was made very welcome.
    Unfortunately my vegetarian breakfast wasn't very good. Sausages were rock hard and overcooked as was the greasy over cooked potatoe fritters. No soya milk and no herbal teas.

    Spacious comfortable room, excellent food, very simple to check in and out, lovely helpful staff.
    The sliding door to the bathroom was a bit sticky.

    It was close to amenities. Breakfast staff were nice and good choice of breakfast
    The picture of the premises doesn't show it being sandwiched btwn a dual carriageway and a business estate. The walls had paint hanging off the walls, the carpet was covered in stains and the shower sealant was brown

    Breakfast was adequate. I thought that there should have been granola, and nuts and fruit to add to it.
    When youre serving the grey pound, I think that the option of a four or five ounce steak would be worthwhile. I like the Adnams bitter which is one half a percent proof. It tastes much more similar to a 3.6 percent proof beer than to an alcohol free one.
