Duty Manager Mr. Piyush cornered me into upgrading into a King Size Bed (with Pool View). They have three categories in the order of how expensive they are - City View, Garden View and then City View.
Conned me for 4418 inclusive of taxes and later upon confronting (that they were other cheaper upgrades available), his colleague took cognisance and offered a refund. Thank you Ms. Ayushi (front desk office) in helping us save our money from Mr. Piyush.
Another incident, kitchen staff sent across a cement texture white sauce alfredo they claim. Had to put across my point twice in order for them to acknowledge my dissatisfaction.
Ms. Taru from the front desk, to whom i requested my invoice to be settled way the night before - refused, no logical explanation provided. She said it would be done the next morning.
I have a question, what if i was physically checking that very minute? Would they not have called up and check for incidentals, to invoice? Its only i had the positive balance of 4418 (from the grace of Mr. Piyush) - that she denied.
She promised me an invoice by 8 AM. Promised. Still waiting for that invoice a day later. Pathetic service.
The GM Saurabh Khanna sent across a proxy written note and some courtesy chocolate but never took the effort to apologise for the circus hes rotating. For future guests - Happy Holidaying at Marriott. The restaurant staff - excellent. Housekeeping - proactive. Thank you for that.
