The Crowne Plaza - Dar Es Salaam is a new, well-designed hotel with excellent service and nice rooms. The breakfast is wonderful and the staff are attentive and helpful. However, the pool and gym are (Read More) disappointing, with the pool being uninviting and the gym lacking necessary equipment. The hotel is conveniently located near the city center and there are many restaurants nearby. Overall, it is a good place to stay but could use improvements.

Pretty much it was the staff above anything else, helpful. but i do takes a lot of time to get anything done by them. i don't know why but it does. but the do get things done with a smile and very pleasant
couple of times i found insects in the room. i did not inform the staff i just delt with it by myself. as i did not want to be asked to change the room. also i am a clean freak. lets just say i cleaned the room better than they do.

Would definitely recommend. The rooms are nicely insulated and quiet and perfectly clean. Everything seems very new. Great staff and amenities.
The gym is very small with not a lot of space to actually work out. The pool is also very small and in the middle of the compound so every one can see you.

Some of the staff recognized me from my stay earlier this year.
Ample amenities in the room (good housekeeping).
Great breakfast.
Enjoyed using the gym.
Good location.
Clean and safe.
Had to ask for some things that took a while to get.
Coffee or tea sometimes took a long time to get.
Saw a guest cough and sneeze over the buffet, Maybe, have some disinfectant in public areas. I can't recall if this was there. I did see some in the gym.
