The Dakota Edinburgh hotel is modern and comfortable, with clean rooms and welcoming staff. Guests praised the well-served breakfast and top-quality food and drinks at the Bar and Grill. Some minor i (Read More)ssues included a lack of floor mats in the bathrooms. Overall, visitors had a pleasant experience and would recommend the hotel, especially for first-time visitors to Edinburgh. Special appreciation was given to Samantha for outstanding customer service.

Great food, comfortable surroundings, great shower. A little over priced but only by a smidgen.
Great bar and restaurant. Rooms comfortable. N
Room could have been a bit larger and a fridge would have been good. But overall did not affect our stay. It's not cheap.

The BEST hotel we've ever stayed in
The best shower we have ever had, and we are fulltime professional travellers! This is the best place to stay if you want to be close to a bus stop for for Hogmanay and a very short distance to the unofficial Loony Dook cold water swim on New Years Day in Queensferry.

Was nice overall but overpriced and personally let down by the lack of options.
Modern, nice decor, good atmosphere
Menu online didnt correspond to menu in restaurant, we were told we were getting whats left in the fridges and therefore had a reduced menu. We didnt get what we had planned to get which was our main reason for choosing to dine here.
Shower soaked the floor as it sprayed outside the shower. Shower head had build up of limescale causing the water to spray everywhere.

This is the second time staying here. Good for parking. Tea and coffee available and maid comes everyday to clean and top up room.
This time the room was dusty and the bed was broken so every time you moved it would make a loud noise then wake you up.
