Ok value for money, trying to be premium looking but a bit tired in the rooms.

View was great, bathroom was clean and the room was a good size. The staff were pleasant and the hotel surroundings and ambience were lovely.

The room was tired. There was mould near the bed and lots of marks around the place - it just looked a bit shabby. The drinks glasses weren't wrapped, so no idea whether they are clean or not, and not great considering they are kept in the bathroom. Lots of condensation on the inside of the doors, which dripped down and made the carpet wet around the doors.

The location of the hotel was nice along with the evening meals

I booked a room with a balcony but got a shared terrace that people walked across all of the time with their dogs. The throw blanket had a white mark on and the door frame did not have a door plate for the latch to go into. I enquired about something at the front desk and a member of your team was very sarcastic (she was a supervisor) this left me very annoyed that I had been treated and made to feel silly for asking a question.

Nice area,hotel generally good

Cleaners very noisy from 8am knocking on door continually asking when we were leaving, very rude, older man serving in lounge very rude when asking for a drink never spoke or said anything polite even when we were very rude if you ask me.

An up a down experience, basic and served its purpose.

The staff at the brasserie restaurant for both lunch and dinner service were very helpful, particularly with a newborn within our group. A lovely area was given to our large booking and our dietary requirements were catered for. Rooms were clean and ready on arrival.

The breakfast service was awful, despite being required to book a time slot in advance this didnt appear to be required in the morning leading to utter chaos, cold food, no cutlery or crockery. Many missing breakfast items including the basics. Nothing about this part of our stay was pleasant. The walls of the bedrooms were also particularly thin, you could hear everything from the rooms either side and the corridors.

Location and dog friendly is what makes this hotel special!

Gorgeous location with beautiful walks and close to many things to do. Most of the hotel was lovely and really nicely done. Absolutely loved that they accommodate dogs and appreciated the hotel custom dog bed and bowl a really nice touch with towel too! You can rent wellies and there are certain areas to clean your dog and boots off which is also great. Breakfast selection I thought was perfect plenty to choose from and great quality. Bed was extremely comfortable and the tv was huge too!

I cant slam all the staff as we dealt with a couple helpful people but at times not the most helpful and clearly were not enjoying being back after Christmas. Not very informative when needing to be. My boyfriend rented wellies and the lady who was dealing with him was going to take them off him and not give him his shoes back or his deposit until he asked. Breakfast was very overbooked and the actual food quality in room service and lounge for the price you pay is not good. Its quite basic - 20 prices for a pizza which is not how you expect for a stone baked pizza. Our room definitely needed updating lots of imperfections and the loud banging of doors constantly was not nice. The cleaning was very basic with a lot of things missed when coming into the room. Spa staff were also pretty useless and not helpful or very talkative when we went back to get more info which made us feel very unwelcome. My partner has just checked and he has been charged 230 for no reason and we have had no contact from the hotel regarding it, but we are awaiting the hotel to respond to us and resolve.
