    Despite some alarming reviews, the DoubleTree by Hilton Huntsville-South hotel exceeded expectations. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food in the restaurant was great. The rooms were cl (Read More)ean, comfortable, and spacious. The location was convenient for business travelers, as it was close to retail and restaurants. Although there were some issues with unexpected charges and no free breakfast, overall it was a pleasant stay.

    Just so so, staff was great, but the hotel feel short of expectations
    My room was great. The rest of the hotel is undergoing renovation, so there was a good amount of noise and noticeable construction materials and equipment.
    The morning breakfast really needs some TLC. The staff is overworked for the tasks asked of them. The quality of the food also needs some attention. The biscuits were really good though.

    It was a beautiful Hotel, our stay was amazing.
    The check-in front desk person (wheel chair) was very professional, courteous, and helpful. She greeted us with a smile and she was very friendly.

    Make sure you get in writting whats included as we ended up with unexpected charges - staff told us on check in it was included but found out at checkout is wasn't

    Nice and roomy front desk guy was super nice clean and nice bathroom. They are doing some renovations which will make it even nicer

    Disappointing DoubleTree experience, but friendly staff and good location. Secure outside door.
    Expensive breakfast buffet, so did not buy ($15/head), but friendly staff and good location in Huntsville.
    Outside door was not secure, nearby ice machine was broken, hotel remodel underway so blocked parking areas. Loud heat in room, hard bed.
