    DoubleTree by Hilton Stratford-upon-Avon is conveniently located near the theatre and tourist areas. Some guests noted a strange smell in the room and dampness under the floorboards. While some exper (Read More)ienced issues with service at reception, others praised the warm welcome and well-maintained rooms. Breakfast was described as nice but slow to refresh. Overall, a good stay with friendly staff in a great location.

    The room was beautiful /clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner was cooked to a high standard, tasty, and always hot which was fabulous for me. Location was great!

    We were staying one night in order to visit the theatre, so it met our requirements.
    Ideal location near to town. Our room was clean and warm. Friendly staff.
    I felt the room was rather dark in the way it was decorated. Refreshments in the room were a bit 'mean'. No biscuits or snacks and no alternatives to coffee or tea, such as hot chocolate or fruit/herbal teas.

    The location of the Double Tree is good. The overall standard is good although starting to feel a bit dated eg carpets. In its day, this would be potentially a furst class hotel but now needs a bit of investment and TLC eg lift not working.
    Expensive 274 for small Suite and actually nothing spectacular just an enlarged double room. And thus didn't include breakfast.
