    From the top. The first shuttle from the airport was full to capacity, driver was rude and kicked a mixed couple off the bus while letting several airline crew take their place. After waiting 30 minutes we got a totally empty shuttle with a nice driver. Front desk staff were competent and polite but had no sense of joy. We felt like we were interrupting them by checking in. This is another airport hotel with no dining facilities after 8 PM on a business day so we had to order dinner in, and come to the lobby to pick it up. The room had a pile of empty, and some full, water bottles dumped behind the desk and tv stand. Bottled water was provided at a charge of $3.50 for a small bottle. Not only is that gouging but it also suggests that the tap water is unfit to drink. Is it? We'll never know because there were no drinking glasses anywhere in the room or bathroom. Nice big TV with a horrible grainy picture , an intermittent remote, and a control system from the 80's. And lastly.... another $280 hotel with single ply toilet paper. And a note saying how lucky we were to have free wifi for a short time before charges start. My quest for an acceptable airport hotel experience will continue. This is not acceptable. This would not have been acceptable in the 60's.

    A good overnight stay on our stopover back to Scotland
    We arrived at 2.30am and were welcomed by reception who had everything organised for us. The driver of the shuttle bus from the airport was particularly helpful making sure that everyone was on the correct bus as there are two Doubletree hotels, and helping with the luggage. Room was comfortable and warm. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice to suit appetites and pockets. Oh and of course the cookies!!
    We couldn't turn the heating down so there was a constant noise throughout the night. They could have cleaned properly behind the table with the TV, etc on it. For some reason this had been pulled out not by us and so we could see a lot of dust, rubber bands, etc behind there.

    It was a good stay to visit the Niagara-Falls and surroundings as well as the city center from Toron
    The hotel is well located if you come by car and want to leave Canada at the international airport. From the airport is a fast train to the city-center to Toronto - so it is also perfect to visit the city.
