Guests enjoyed their stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego Bay Downtown. They loved the great rooms and friendly service. Some rooms had a partial view of the bay and Coronado bridge. It worked but was expensive
Breakfast and service was great and so was the location.
The parking situation was terrible. I wish the hotel was more up front about options that were no the $60/night valet. Plus the $25 resort fee was an unnecessary surprise addition to our bill. The hotel was great but was more expensive than planned.

It was a great location, rooms were clean and comfortable , the breakfast and pool were great.
It was great! We had 2 of our grandchildren with us, they loved the indoor pool. The breakfasts were great not having to go find a restaurant early in the morning, and with the "made to order" everyone got to eat what they wanted. The location was perfect! Walking distance to the Midway along with many restaurants. I like how it's a suite, with the extra sink and you can close the door to the bedroom making the living room separate.The bathrooms seemed to be updated. The beds were very comfortable.
The rooms were clean but I thought living area was a little tired looking.

The value for the money was below average. I expected more for the $345 I dropped for 1 night here.
Room was nice. Neat and clean.
The hidden add ons. $25 destination fee. $55 valet parking for Hilton Honors members. No EV charging stations onsite. Dinner reception food was very limited. Buffet breakfast food was cold. Not enough seating for diners even going early at 8:00 AM. I have stayed at other Embassy suites often over the years. The quality has definitely gone down hill while prices and add ons increased. The rooms are always nice, but the quality of the perks like free made to order breakfast and reception nightly have suffered.

Good location and great breakfast!
The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing! The room had everything we needed. The location was a good hub for exploring San Diego.
The staff were quite agressive about upselling Hilton vacation products - we felt like we needed to hide every time we walked through the lobby and dining area to avoid being pitched. This is not a critique of the staff as I know they're just doing their job, but moreso of the hotel's practices. I expect that type of pushy sales tactic from street vendors in a tourist trap, but not at a nice hotel in the US. It felt like instead of serving their guests, the hotel was just trying to extract more money from us.

Was good overall. Great bay view and walkable distance to few sights.
All were good. Breakfast was perfect.
Vending machines on each floor.
There was also a complimentary evening reception which we were unaware of until couple days!
We took Togo order from their restaurant and didnt know that we could charge back only the subtotal towards the daily credit. That was not made clear to us at checkin.
