    I love that the owners have put so much into the hoilday home to make you feel like your back on the olden times . The kids loved dressing up in the fagens den outfits The beach and the shops are literally 5 mins walk and it's only a.20 min walk to the train station .I took two little dogs and they loved it they were very content and even though there is no garden .I just took them down the road where the car park is and there is a tree and for a quick wee they just went there but we went on the beach every day I.love the fact its so dog friendly and you can take the dogs in most shops . You have a tescos .Iceland and pundland up the road as well as.some little.independant shops that have got some lovely things in it . We will be booking here again loved every minute

    Only that it hasn't got a bath in it . And the stairs are quite steep so you have to watch your footing

    Lovely break in a beautiful cottage with the town of Broadstairs close to the town and seafront.
    Fantastic location. Loved the Dickens theme throughout the cottage.

    Incredible discovery in a great place, run by the most awesome hosts.
    Such a wonderful idea to have a themed cottage, which we all loved for a variety of reasons. The decor is fabulous, the game entertaining, the costumes even more fun, and as parents for secondary school girls, we hope a Dickens-themed break would inspire them in their studies. The hosts were overwhelmingly accommodating nothing was too much trouble.
    The smaller shower head fell on my partners foot, and the soap tray didn't look very stable. However the property and the stay were so awesome, I really feel guilty for saying anything remotely bad about this place or its owners. YOU MUST VISIT!!!

    Challenging - other cottage was LOVELY
    Beverley and Phil were extremely accommodating when, unfortunately, we arrived to a stinky drain issue. They were very understanding and suggested moving property, swiftly putting wheels in motion to action this. Phil actually helped move the bags! I felt very confident in them as hosts and would go back and rent a different property that they managed. Unfortunately Fagins Den was not for us.
    The drain problem was unbearable particularly due to there only being one small bathroom. I would say its a house for a couple maximum. The stairs were fine - some of the authentic details were at the detriment to the comfort of the place: the bare lightbulb lighting in the kitchen, for instance.
