The rooms are cle (Read More)an and comfortable, and Denise, the owner and host, is friendly and accommodating. Guests love the delicious breakfast served each morning and appreciate the free parking. The inn has a charming garden and offers a peaceful atmosphere. Overall, the Fair Street Guest House is highly recommended and a gem in Newport.

    It was an enjoyable experience and reasonably priced if you like Bed and Breakfasts
    The bed was very comfortable with nice pillows and sheets. There was a private bath off the bedroom that was convenient. The breakfast was delicious. The hospitality was very good which made you feel comfortable staying there. A walking distance for entertainment, restaurants, and shops on the Main Street made the location excellent. Many tourist sites are also close by. Newport is beautiful during Christmas time. It was an enjoyable stay.

    Great location for a longstanding traditional B&B
    Great host, very helpful and flexible about the time for a freshly cooked breakfast, and the location is incredibly easy and walkable from downtown.

    Very good breakfast, nice breakfast room. Good location downtown.
    Hostess run out of breakfast items second day. Location downtown is noisy. Don't stay here Friday or Saturday night if you want to sleep, very noisy from downtown nightlife. Also heavy traffic in the morning.

    -Excellent breakfast and host was really friendly -great location and cozy room -fan available if not a fan of AC or if AC is too little -lots of recommendations for sightseeing and free maps/brochures -books to read available

    Truly, the hostess was gracious, the house was lovely, and the location is perfect.
    The location is perfect. You are in the middle of everything with the longest walk being ten minutes in each direction. From the room we stayed in, we could see the RC Church that President Kennedy was married in.

    Overall, a great stay. Much needed after being sick for a week.
    Overall, a great experience. The host couldn't have been more accomodating and helpful. Food was good. Best location in town, I would stay there again just for the location.
    Room was crowded with stuff and didn't have space to sit or lay clothes. A little confusing with BNB two houses down having the same name. I wish I could have had a bit more food.

    In a wordExcellent!
    Denise went out of her way for us. We had to be someplace at 9 a.m. and would have missed breakfast. Denise started breakfast a few minutes early for us. The B and B was walking distance from everything.
