    Location and scenery were stunning. Fish and snorkelling was mint. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
    No where near enough staff working, over an hr to get a drink. Facilities were a little run down. More food options needed or more deliveries? Had run out of most ingredients and drinks.

    A paradise that needs a bit of care
    The location, views, friendly staff. Restaurant staff Fernanda, the reception staff Kylan and Ariel and the turtle centre staff Taylor were really lovely.
    While the beach cabins were perfectly located and comfortable, the attention to detail was lacking. There was no water provided. Some of the plates and bowls were chipped. Our beach cabin, supposedly refurbished has torn curtains broken curtain rail and sheer curtains were not hung properly and had totally come off the rails as rail ends were broken. The door had torn fly nets. There were no curtains in the smaller bedroom ..it only had sheers. The cupboard shelves were sagging and had splintered edges. The room lacked a small table/ dining or writing desk. The tour desk was not manned and no sign was put up to advise that we must go to reception to ask The swim-up pool bar lacked the vibe and the drink options advertised were not available. There were no condiments, sauces or salt/pepper shakers in the poolside eating area which meant if we wanted any embellishments to the otherwise bland pizzas and we asked the wait staff, we were told they are not available ... Not even a tobasco! There was not enough shade in the pool area and almost all deck chairs used to get reserved with no other options. The coral was a fair bit bleached and dying which is not the resort facilities' fault but it definitely put a dampner on what we were hoping to see. The vegan options for dining out were very limited. We would have really liked some walk/hike options and trail guides.

    great low key place to have a few days of doing not much. Good place to just stop and flop :)
    Our fridge and freezer had a smell of fish or bait, so could do with a thorough clean. room had a musty smell, which I though may be due to the extremely humid conditions at the time. The shower had a leak so the bathroom floor was often wet.

    Staff were rude at the pool bar, service was very poor, reception staff not knowing where boat morning wet. Restaurant staff slow at service, no water offered, no drinks service, was so looking forward to visiting Fitzroy but won't be back or recommend

    Very disappointing and not value for money.
    The quality of the food served in the Zephyr Restaurant was excellent, it was expensive, but it was very good.
    The resort itself is very tired and in need of significant investment. The accommodation is clean but again well overdue refurbishment, in particular the bathrooms. There is a constant smell of wastewater or sewage in the vicinity of the dilapidated walkways that connect all of the resort rooms, this is unacceptable. Foxys Bar and Grill and that part of the resort is a disgrace and massively overdue a complete facelift. It deserves no stars at all, but the food is acceptable. The water sports and tours from the FISH are expensive. In our case the glass bottom boat tour advised at the start of the tour that visibility was extremely poor and yet the boat went to a single spot where there was nothing to see and then sat there until it was time to return. A very expensive waste of all of our time. The tour should have been cancelled.

    We still thoroughly enjoyed our stay
    Had a booking for 4 people. Parents in main bed which was nice. Sofa was made up for other 2 guests. Almost unable to sleep in sofa. Asked if there was a mattress slip or anything they do to make it more comfortable. Yes but they never came back to the room with anything?
    Maintenance appears to be lacking

    Money Grabbing Business.
    Sadly only available choice to go on Fitzroy... Money grabbing business. When they want money they message you, call you, but other than that, hard to get them to answer you. Before you consider booking, know you'll end up paying more than agreed upon. Safety or customer satisfaction comes third and second after payement. Bad customer service

    It is a shame that such a lovely spot has become so run down.
    The location, as in the island, was a beautiful location.
    I did not like the condescending staff, the mouldy smelling room, or the disgusting filthy state of the door. It is a shame that the reception staff member that I had the displeasure of interacting with had not been trained in, indeed did not seem to possess, the basic hospitality element of being polite to a guest.
