    Fantastic. We are planning to return in 2025.
    Everything was fantastic. The pool area, the beautiful river with canoes beside the hotel. The staff were really good. Vichana organised a yoga class for us and also a moped to go exploring the area which was great fun. Taxis and tuc tucs were arranged as needed. Tom, Vichana and Joseph made our stay a really great memory. Benedict and the chefs made beautiful food every day. The household staff were always smiling and friendly.

    Relaxing and tranquil stay!
    The food was amazing! We couldnt stop eating all the currys and they really listen to how spicy youd like it. The pool area was really nice and chilled and the canoeing to the quieter beach was a really nice touch. The rooms were nice and spacious and the decor was nice. Perfect place to go if you want to be off the beaten track and bot in a busy area.
    There wasnt many staff around so we had to search and wait around for someone quite a few times throughout the stay which was a bit of a inconvenience, especially as there was always a service charge added onto everything you buy.

    Relaxing stay with a great restaurant & incredible restaurant staff
    Wonderful place to relax and experience some of the nature of Kerala. The food is excellent and the restaurant team do an incredible job of making sure every guest feels looked after (and very well fed). Clean, comfortable rooms, a great pool and a fun canoe trip (or walk) to the beach nearby.
    Not a negative but a note: if you want to explore locally - plan ahead consult front desk about activities / transport as it's not as simple as just wandering out

    Staff were always helpful. We had a family birthday and they went out of their way to help us make this memorable
    Lovely for a quiet break, but not much within walking distance.

    Beautiful property, and very friendly and helpful staff. We loved being able to canoe directly from the property right to the beach - this was an incredible experience! Delicious food as well, really recommend the chicken biryani.

    Perfect spot to explore Kerala and relax.
    A beautiful heritage building, and a little pocket of paradise with gardens, restaurant and the pool by the canal. We had fun canoeing to the beach. Staff are all very friendly and accomodating, and we enjoyed the Allepey backwaters boat tour they helped us arrange. Highly recommended for a relaxed holiday in Marari.
    Wasnt a big issue but good to note the bathroom is open air. Bedrooms are supplied with a mosquito repelling device to deter them entering the main bedroom/living area (which has AC).

    Wonderful spot with amazing service and facilities
    Anil was absolutely wonderful. We were so well looked after - particularly appreciated because I had just broken my ankle two days before! The Marari fish curry was unreal and the canoe down to the beach so special
    The food was sometimes a little hit and miss - always good quality but some was really outstanding and some a little disappointing. Very minor issue compared to how wonderful everything else was though!
