    The staff was excellent and very attentive to our needs and were happy to make accommodations for us when we traveled and came back late to the hotel or wanted to leave early.
    The drive was a long one getting to the hotel but after you reached the hotel you forgot about it.

    Perfect place to relax
    Perfect place on top of the mountains around Kandy, in the middle of the jungle, very remote, good for relaxation and with amazing views. Rooms are really big and clean, with huge terrace and perfect hot water at the shower. Pool is nice as well, we regret only that we could not use it, because of rain. Very friendly staff, very good massage at Spa and amazing food in their own restsurant. Highly recommended!

    The hotel has a dramatic view over the mountains and valley below. The room was spotlessly clean. The welcome from Pradeep and the team was genuine and warm. The kitchen creates excellent Sri Lankan food and Roshan made us feel like regulars. 10/10 service breakfast and dinner.
    The room could benefit from an air conditioner at night. The shower in bath was not ideal for anyone but the most agile guests.

    Beautiful setting on top of a mountain away from the bustling city below. Very nice and relaxing...
    Beautiful view, nice and nicely decorated facilities, relaxing and very friendly staff.
    There is really not much not to like. The restaurant was good ...but the offering on the menu card didn't fully match the otherwise very high standards

    Great for a relaxing retreat
    I had a blissful stay at Galavilla - the hotel is beautiful and surrounded by nature. I spent a day by the pool and jacuzzi, it was beautiful. Great hospitality by the hotel staff.
    All was good! Just a shame I couldn't have a Sri Lankan breakfast on my arrival, and was only offered a continental one.

    A hidden gem, a gift for our senses
    The hidden and wonderful location was surprising. A peaceful accommodation to relax with your family. Warm welcome from the staff, always helpful and looking at all details. It deserves a longer stay to enjoy the surrounding nature and the amazing jacuzzi. Weve been in Feb 2023, there is nothing to worry about for tourism, a safe country and lovely people.

    Rustic sanctuary on top of the mountain
    I recently stayed at the Galla Villa Boutique Hotel and it was truly an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, the rooms were luxurious and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet each morning and the spa facilities. I would highly recommend the Galla Villa Boutique Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
    Nothing I can remember about it.
