Me and my son were there for a staycation since we did not have plan to go abroad or out of town. Upon checked in, we got a pleasent surprise from the Guest Experience as a selected guest to be upgraded to suite and receive complimentary snack in the pool restaurant (I suspected because my son wore an elf hat ), thanks you so much! On top of that because the next day was my birthday, the Guest Experience sent a birthday cake to our room, another nice surprise! Aside from the perks, I think Melia can turn into a family staycation destination as it has nice ambience, food and staffs are so friendly, by perhaps add few more children attraction. All in all, lovely stay

A small but comfy apartment
The apartment has been kept clean and well maintained during my stay, the host is kind and attentive. I liked staying there.
Washing machine wasn't there because it was sent for repairs, but there are several laundromats nearby, so it wasn't too big of a deal.

Stayed in this hotel during a business trip. It is a large hotel with spacious rooms and good service. Extensive breakfast with both Asian and Western choices. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Not the mistake of the hotel, but there is nothing much to do in the surroundings of the hotel. If you would like to eat outdoors, you will have to take a taxi.

Very slow room service, I was advised it will take max 30 min for food and took an hour - which normally not a big deal but had a massage booked and had to rush through dinner which was a shame

Staff were very friendly. Food was pretty good
Tired furnishings in the room. Does anyone actually use an alarm clock?!. Maybe useful for charging your phone.. if you have an iphone 3. i was surprised there wasnt a Gideons bible in the bedside table. Lighting in room inadequate and electric blind annoyingly slow. Time for a freshen up i think
