It was okay but not worth the money, and I wouldnt go back again.
Beach access and spa
The staff did not ever regulate people on loud speakers, personal video calling devices, or being loud in general. We had politely requested several times during the trip for staff to have other guests follow rules and they did nothing. Many women were on loud FaceTime calls in side the cenote spa and it was pretty awful and the grill restaurant was about four times the cost of what the food was worth.

I had to write an email to the office of the president due to paying 4k USD, and not even being allowed to order a drink or food from the hotel on NYE! WE TRAVELED SO FAR TO CELEBRATE! WHEN I asked the manager he said that there was plenty of places outside to order food and drinks off property but we didn't feel safe outside the resort. Very unprofessional manager and when I asked for the Onsite general managers email address so I could forward my email that I sent to the office of the president of Hyatt, they refused to give to me because he knew he was a jerk and didn't want to get into trouble. We have been to Hyatts all over the world and our 3rd time here and everytime is the WORSE! We have decided after being life long Hyatt customers and spending 20k+ a year sending our employees and clients to Hyatt, we will not only never go again but cancel all of our business with Hyatt from a personal and business perspective.

The service was impeccable and the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. I loved how welcoming the staff were and we felt very well taken care of from start to finish. They even arranged a birthday surprise for my daughters 16th birthday which she loved!!!
The views, pools and beach are amazing!
The food was overpriced, however there are a lot of more affordable options nearby.

The Location, style, pools and spa are excellent.
We had a suite and there was a pool above that sounded like a plane was taking off every few minutes, plus when relocated the AC in the outside room of the replacement room didnt work.

Nice, but wouldnt book again.
The room was comfortable and the staff was kind. The pools and beach were also nice.
It took us long walks to get to the 5th avenue due to the location of our room j the resort, the shower in our room was not working properly and there was an underwear in our room when we arrived. I wouldnt go back there. I would rather stay in a smaller hotel closer to the 5th avenue.
