    It was like home from home. Lovely. Excellent location too.
    It was all spot on, it was just like we had our own house shipped over to whitby, we felt like we were sort of back home but in a town we love so well , whitby, fabulous, thank you so much!! We would recommend it to our relatives and friends just worried they may pinch dates we would like in the future,

    Excellent little gem of a property, really spacious, cosy, quirky and would 100% book again!
    Absolutely loved this cottage, the heated floor was a very pleasant surprise especially in these cold winter months. Loved the huge bath in the attic. Fantastic open plan layout downstairs, comfortable beds WiFi and a huge tv, both actually working unlike other places Ive stayed and on the whole a fantastic property right in the heart of Whitby!
    Attic room was a little cold, one radiator didnt work and the other wasnt hot at all, radiators may just need bleeding but I was ok and used the huge blanket they have in the living room. A seat in the attic room near the mirror to get ready, I had to sit on the floor with the mirror propped up against the draws. No curtains in the attic room too, theyre ripped. Could do with a new fridge, or even just new shelves in the fridge, also need a few touch ups with paint work but other than that, no complaints, just some cosmetic touches.

    Twin bedroom steps can be a bit difficult and caution is needed. This is on the very top floor.

    Great location - some minor issues.
    The underfloor heating is fabulous. The parking space is great. The character of the building is charming. The location is great.
    The lock box for the keys is hard to open - maybe that's why they were behind the plant pot. The plates, glasses and cutlery were dirty, maybe that's because the top shelf of the dishwasher is broken, so you can't close the dishwasher and run a wash cycle. We had to rewash everything. The oven trays are on their way out - we had to buy our own There are 2 knives, a damaged carving and an old carving knife, but no utility or bread knife. We had to buy our own. BUT - it is still a lovely cottage and we did enjoy our stay.

    Great location - bathrooms very good - very comfortable
    Could do with some painting in places - Particularly window frames which gave an air of poor maintenance - easily rectified and would make a difference
