    This is an unforgettable trip for me. Stella was very friendly and helped me with a lot of problems. This is my first solo trip to Africa. Due to the late arrival time of the flight, I could not get to the hotel smoothly. Stella hurriedly arranged for me to get to the hotel safely. Breakfast is also very good, you can relax and enjoy the beautiful sunshine. Stella helped me recommend a lot of places to visit, although I only had a two-day trip, but it was also very memorable. On my last night here, I sat in the courtyard with other friends here and talked, which was very memorable. We shared interesting things and experiences with each other, and I tasted Tangawizi, Kenya's famous drink, for the first time. Looking forward to the opportunity to come again!

    Great place to spend a night or more in Dar es Sallaam
    Very happy to spend our last night of our holiday in Tanzania at Haika Home Lodge. Very good communication with the host, perfectly organised transfers from/to the airport, comfortable rooms at a very good price. It was a pleasure to get to know Stella, she make sure we had everything we needed, a delicious dinner included.

    The perfect start
    This is the perfect beginning. The place is near the airport, and the room is everything you need at the right price. At this place you see and feel the real life of Tanzania/ Dar, with security. ( Maybe don't look like if you are new in Africa but is safe.) And this place have a Pearl, Stella, she is super friendly, and the right person to advice you about anything. I fell like is a mother for the guest there. WiFi as Great. AC was very good. The room is better from the normal in Tanzania.
    To be honest there is nothing I did not like.

    I have stayed here twice . Stella is just amazing and so helpful. I arrived at 4am at the airport and was met by a very nice aircon car which Stella arranged and on arrival at the hotel , it was so nice to be greeted by her so early in the morning. Best place to arrive into Tanzania and sort out things like a sim card and further travel . The breakfast is nice and big. Clean and comfortable room.

    Haika is quiet; clean; well managed and affordable! I liked it a lot
    The place is extremely well-maintained and clean. The security of the place is well-insured. The location is near the international airport and next to the highway towards the airport, hence the access is rapid in less than 30 minutes. The landlady, Stella is an excellent host. She was available since my arrival, she enquired about your wishes and suggested options where i seemed to not know what to do. She would get you snacks while waiting for meals. Stella has a vast education profile having studied and lived in the US before returning to Tanzania, i enjoyed discussing business and life skills in general. Very well organized, she took care of every details to make my stay memorable. Thank you so much Stella.

    Noteworthy to note the internet was not part of the offer though. It was a surprise when Stelle proposed a password for the wifi. The internet could be improved though! I was not able to download some contents.

    I'll come here again.
    Friendly. I felt at home. I travelled alone and with colleagues. Stella really looked after our visitors when we were not available.
    not on main road - some taxis struggle to find it even though the hotel is very well signposted.

    The owner is very friendly, professional, and super helpful with suggestions on where to eat, getting around, etc. She wants your stay to be enjoyable, and mine was. She made me a very good breakfast with care and attention to my gluten intolerance. The whole property is immaculate and there's a very nice outdoor sitting area in a small garden. Airport transfers were on time and professional.

    it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Our only regret is we didnt stay longer. Stella was such a lovely host and we cannot recommend staying there more.
