    Stayed just before Xmas a Christmas party was held below us so noisy talking outside or smokers woke me up.

    Ideal.
    The food, the staff. There were locals and a party on the night we were there its a proper pub but we were in the room above the party and you couldnt hear anything anyway. Shame more places dont have the same feel about them.

    We will be back
    The rooms have been recently refurbished, the staff were so helpful and the food was great value and home cooked. The owner told us its a rule of the hotel "no body goes to bed hungry" and with the size of the portions you will not.

    The spacious rooms and breakfast was great. We unknowingly left some EarPods and we got a call from the staff and these were sent in the post the same week. Convenient for what we wanted.
