    The King suite at Hampton Inn & Suites San Clemente offered great value and was spacious with clean bathrooms, but the pull-out couch bed was uncomfortable. The staff was attentive and immediately co (Read More)ntacted the guest about a lost wallet. The hotel was conveniently located across the street from a wedding venue, although some noise from the nearby freeway was noticeable. Parking can be difficult at night. Prices in August were high, typical for the summer season.

    Nice rooms , good breakfast , nice staff , pool was small but warm
    Good location !
    Toilet broken , asked for maintenance they didnt come or fix it , my husband had to try and fix it .

    The breakfast was nice. Nothing different than what I have seen at other hotels
    The rooms are not very insulated. My room was near the ice machine and I could hear noises from the hallway. After the first night there our room was not cleaned when we got back from shopping.

    Older hotel in need of upgrades, especially AC units.
    Location is convenient and central.
    The air conditioning unit didnt work and staff left one fan in the room to cool it. Well it really was not effective. Hotel was an older and in need of some upgrades.

    You can find something better, keep looking.
    Staff were pleasant enough
    If you're considering staying here... keep going, you'll find someplace more comfortable. 70s.vibe, as in, building and room haven't been renovated since the '70s. Strange odor resembling dirty feet and cheetos in room entryway. Tried opening the balcony door to air out room, but room facing freeway a few dozen feet away and traffic noise is very loud.

    Grandma's journey to see the grands.
    The room was nice for two elderly women to entertain grandchildren. The beds were very comfy and the breakfast was tasty.
    They didn't allow us one minute late check out and actually phoned the room at 10:55am. People in their 80s don't move as fast as they once did.
