The Harbour Hotel Southampton received positive reviews for its busy restaurant with delicious scallops and duck salad. A family had a lovely stay in a beautiful room with a large deck and comfortabl (Read More)e pull-out couch. The room was clean, well-appointed, and had binoculars for ship-watching. Tea for two at the Har Bar 6 was enjoyed for the lovely atmosphere, view, good food, and excellent service.

Superb

Clean and comfortable hotel- will definitely stay here again as the best in Southampton.

Room was very clean and comfortable; Lovely shower and bathroom, again very clean. Towels and bathrobes good. Free decanter of gin, ice and lemon were a lovely touch. Limited menu for room service but it arrived hot and well cooked. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice although the stark concrete ceiling was a bit prison like. Free parking was good, right by the hotel.

Receptionist was quite curt- we understood that the hotel was very busy though. It would have been appreciated if we could have made the room cooler than 18 degrees. More signposts of where the hotel reception is from the car park would help.

Inviting, clean, high standards, amazing meals & spa facilities.

Breakfast was very tasty. Great choice. Served hot. Great choice of coffee, juices. Like the touch of water being put on the table.

Every thing was wonderful. Met our expectations.

Views spectacular, every thing else not so.

The location of the hotel is the best feature. The bed was also very comfortable,.

The cost of one night is 270 (stayed for 2) and the hotel is supposedly 5 stars. It felt more like a 3/4 star hotel when it comes to the breakfast, the politeness and helpfulness of the hotel staff, room size and the hotel itself.

Superb

Beautiful hotel in a great location.

Beautiful room with great views-we could see the cruise ships in port. Very clean with bedroom cleaned everyday, towels replaced and friendly staff. We had just come back from a cruise and it was the perfect place to spend the New Years weekend. Even though we were below the HarBar venue we found our room to be very peaceful. Dinner and breakfast were tasty!

Its a very pricey hotel but I suppose you get what you pay for.
