The spacious twin/double room features a tea and coffee maker, a carpeted floor, as well as a private bathroom boasting a bath and a shower. This twin/double room provides heating and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The unit has 1 bed.
Little to no hot water
Room was a bit run down and untidy.
Toilet may as well have been in the shower and hand basin in toilet bowl, that is how tight the bathroom is, and shower was shocking.

Good location with short walk down the hill into town. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, most units will have some view over the lake..
Room 16 (I think I'm remembering correctly) has a balcony immediately next to the roof of the lobby, which has a 24-yr extraction fan running. Not ideal, because there's no a/c to cool the room without keeping a window and/or door to that balcony open on warm nights. Staff were competely inflexible about checking out slightly later than 10:00 -- that's not the norm in NZ.

Very comfy beds, great location. The gym and spa are great too!

The location was great and very walkable to downtown Queenstown. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. We were very pleased with everything, and it proved to be great value for our money. I highly recommend the Heartland Hotel for anyone planning a trip to Queenstown!
