    A wonderful Stay in a wonderful place
    A beautyful Resort with a lot of plants inside a calm garden. The architecture of Geoffrey Bawa makes it a very special and unique place. The stuff is wonderful and as helpful as possible.

    A lovely treat of luxury away from the hubbub of the city
    Loved staying here for Christmas away from the noise and pollution of the city. Beautiful hotel and grounds and a wonderful swimming pool. Food is delicious and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

    Great heritage property - can be cleaner
    Great ambience /setting. Good restaurant. Good courteous service. Very spacious rooms.
    Equipment in the room werent clean. Exhaust fan in one of the two rooms wasnt working. Overall, room infrastructure seemed a bit dated.

    Nice place to relax, ideal for weekend stays and touring Madurai.
    It is a very green location. It is located in the middle of the city, but still very much silent once you enter the premises. 1. it has cycles, so you can pedal around (cycles are not the greatest though) 2. They have buggy which can pick you up too from your place and bring you to the place where you get food 3. Swimming pool is said to have insects, but hey that is not a problem, my son spent good time there 4. Good complimentary breakfast, very hospitable staff 5. the food is good too, we had mutton - very nicely made, and for a change my wife who doesn't prefer it enjoyed it too.
    1. The other activities like table tennis, and carrom are disappointing though - not at all good 2. Cycles not that great :-)

    Serene and peaceful stay for time away from the city
    A very serene and peaceful stay. Very friendly staff especially Bala, Muthu and Rama. Very beautiful greenery and cleanliness throughout. Definitely recommend this place.

    Beautiful and sprawling heritage property with a lot of greenery, open space and stunning views from various seating areas at the property. Very good food. Staff was helpful. Large rooms.

    The big grounds and the old colonial style buildings
    It was poorly maintained, not very clean, poorly organized and the service was inconsistent and poor. Housekeeping was lackadaisical, restaurant service was all over the place. Sometimes there was no cutlery sometimes no napkins. This morning it took so long to just bring 4 coffees and cups at the same time!! Trying to use the pool in the evening was impossible as at 6pm a fully clothed staff member was in the pool trying to set up something for Christmas! Not only did my family have to wait it was terribly unhygienic. I could go on and on.
