    Option of log fire Allowed to take our little dog Quirky Nik naks Home from home comfort Hidden away in a beautiful little village
    Lovely homely cottage. Quirky little items dotted around. Warm enough with heaters but has a log fire if you wish. Comfortable bed. Kitchen was a little cold as no heater but didn't stay in there for long anyway All in all a lovely stay

    The cottage was cosy, clean and the bed was so comfortable, having a little outside space was a bonus to let the puppy out, an you were only a short drive to so many places to visit, will definitely visit again
    There could do with an outside light over the front door as struggled a bit to unlock the door as was very dark at night, and if you arrive late you could never see to use the coded key box, an as it's getting cold now there could do with some heating in the kitchen but don't let these niggles stop you going to hideaway cottage it's lovely

    A lovely little cottage in an ideal location
    The cottage itself is super cute and cosy, perfect for a couples getaway. Its in a really quiet area with a few little walks around, but is also central to Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and North York Moors. The welcome book is full of suggestions for days out and places to eat which is a nice touch.
    Parking isnt the best and we were worried about annoying the neighbours, but we did manage to find a spot every day. The house was full of nice little touches but was short/missing some of the basics like toilet roll/dish cloths - obviously not a major issue but wouldve been handy.

    Quaint little cottage in an idyllic location. Bed was comfy Little Garden was a great sun trap Ideal for a short break for a couple with a dog Walks on the doorstep
    Maybe a lack of outdoor clothes drying space? The kitchen could have been better designed storage space wise IF you were cooking a lot there. We ate out as we were on a short break, so we didn't take a lot of provisions Also, long clothes hanging space in bedroom needed None of these spoiled our stay. it's just my suggestions

    I'LL BE BACK!!!!!!
    An absolutely idealic based cottage, in a beautiful part of the world, just outside whitby, loads of walks for Daisy and Archie, The cottage was amazing, everything you could ever need and then some, all wrapped up in a compact beautifully presented home, immaculately tidy, with loads of thoughtfully presented extras. We went to Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough, all place's we'd heard of but never got around to going. If your planning a trip as a couple with 2 cockapoos to this area, do yourself a favour and book a stay at the Hideaway cottage, I guarantee, you will not be disappointed
