    Really great location for peace and quiet, yet only 15 min drive to various restaurants. Great hosts and very helpful ,breakfasts excellent . Enjoyed our stay . We be going back .
    In all honesty, I'd be struggling to find fault .

    Zero phone reception and WiFi a little sketchy at times altho not a massive issue.

    A perfect place to recharge.
    We had 3 nights at High Dalby House, and can't fault anything, welcoming, peaceful, quiet, beautiful setting, lovely breakfast and a great night's sleep, can't thank Ian and Linda enough who, after a long drive greeted us with a pot of tea and cake...Would love to return with our dog next time to explore Dalby forest and the area more, with visits to Whitby for fish and chips, Whitby Abbey, Robin Hoods Bay and Thornton la Dale, just a beautiful place to stay and recharge and a stunning area to visit.
    There was nothing that we didn't like..

    Ian and Linda were so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble.
    My room was comfortable and so quiet, lovely view of the gardens frim my window. Breakfast was all good, fresh produce and a fabulous choice. The gardens was fantastic and my dog was allowed to be off lead without fear of escaping.
    No dislikes other than staying in the forest I was unable to get a mobile signal to call out. This was out of the control of High Dalby House though.

    Very relaxing and excellent walking. Close to Thornton le dale. Not far from coastal resorts
    Lovely grounds and very peaceful. Great breakfast. Very helpful staff.
    Bathroom private but not en-suite.
