Meh

The Hostel is very central and has a big kitchen

Staff are volunteers who treat the hostel like its their private home, theyre ignoring hostel guests and it does feel like youre invading their space by being there. Even though it said they are checking fridges every day and clean up space, there was food from over weeks in the fridge. The beds are rather small and have no curtains and you can hear every single step and word said from other rooms. Windows are not properly sealed and have lots of mold on them.

Ladder to top bunk is not the most user-friendly. Needs an extra rung or two, especially for the increasingly more common older guests like myself!

Very close to the city center, restaurants and souvenir shops near the hostel

Very noise. Hostel apparently has a lot of volunteers that actually treat the place as their house, so I felt I was invading their space

The staff was exceptional. There is an allocated place for luggage at the reception where people can put them and enjoy the rest of the day in the city.

The rooms are quite narrow.

Good welcome, straightforward check-in. Beds were really solid so didn't feel like you were shaking when using the ladder. Nice and warm on a night below freezing temperatures outside. Nice towels available for 2. Keys for lockers

Didn't know there was a key deposit but not an issue.

Its in very central location, convenient to most places. The kitchen is big and loads of gadgets can be used. The staff are very friendly and nice. They have printing service at the reception which is very convenient and helpful. ) The heating in the room is super warm which is great when its minus degrees outdoors.

The mixed genders toilets and bathroom.
